Sundance Process
overview
The Sundance Process uses a combination of High
Pressure High Temperature (HPHT) processing and
Sundance Diamonds' own proprietary advances to
create the most beautiful processed diamonds in
the world. At Sundance Diamonds we
rely on the natural chemistry of each diamond to
create its own natural color. Every diamond,
before it's transformed, receives a detailed
analysis, risk assessment and preparation. This
attention to detail and the diligence of our
ongoing research and development division give
Sundance Diamonds the edge over its competition.
The Sundance Process is designed to:
- Create More Beauty in Your Diamond
- Add Value to Your Diamond
- Provide Improved Margins
The Sundance Process permanently changes natural brown and cape diamonds to fancy intense yellow, orange, greenish-yellow, green, pink, and pinkish/purple colors. Within natural diamonds is found a variety of different elements that were trapped in the molecular structure during the diamond's natural cooling process. It is these natural impurities that cause the many different colors that exist in natural diamonds.
The Sundance Process recreates the high pressure and high temperature conditions that existed naturally within the mantel of the earth during the formation of the diamond to allow these different natural elements to relax and display their natural color. Nearly all diamonds have the potential to be improved through the Sundance Process. During the Sundance Process, nothing is artificially added or removed from the diamond. Sundance Diamonds are certified by all major gem labs.
